What is a Gratitude Journal?

It is a space where you can stop for a while, reflect and appreciate the small moments that make our life interesting.

It contains a total of 90 pages of gratitude writing, so if you write honestly every day, it will last you 3 months. The next 60 pages are full of simple exercises, techniques and quotes to guide you on your way to gratitude.

By spending just three minutes each day noting these moments, you're not only creating a collection of happy memories, you're also training your mind to focus on the positive . Over time, this can lead to reduced stress levels, improved sleep , and even an overall improvement in your mental health.

The goal is to make us realize that even if we have a bad day, we always have something to be thankful for. The more you practice gratitude, the richer your life, the stronger your relationships, and the more surmountable your challenges.

The practice of gratitude has been with me for 6 years. It's the kind of moment I treat myself to. Every day I get such a small gift - a moment of time when I can spend time with my inner self and what surrounds me. Sometimes I write big things in my journal that I am grateful for. My achievements, experiences, or fulfilled visions and goals. Other times it's little things like the sun coming out, gratitude for a slow morning, or a cup of tea. With a regular practice of gratitude, I notice how I go through life more consciously. I see little things that I might not have noticed without that short stop. Everything is more colorful and joyful, and on days when I don't feel well and the world around me seems gray and sad, I take a journal and a pencil and start to mentally recolor the world around me by expressing gratitude for everything I have and don't have."

    Ahoj,
    jmenuju se Johan Nilsson, pocházím ze Švédska, ale už spoustu let žiju v mému srdci blízkém městě Brně. Jsem zakladatelem značky GoodWays, díky které mohu realizovat svůj sen dělat ze světa o trochu lepší místo.

    Vždycky jsem toužil pracovat na věcech, které mohou mít pozitivní dopad. S myšlenkou vytvořit Deník vděčnosti jsem si pohrával v hlavě již několik let. Prostě jsem věděl, že to je něco, co musím udělat. Považoval jsem to za součást svého poslání.

    Tvorba Deníku vděčnosti pro mě byla zajímavá cesta. Rozhovory s odborníky a přáteli o jejich zkušenostech s praktikováním vděčnosti a jeho pozitivního vlivu na jejich každodenní život byly tak inspirující, že mě jen utvrdily v mé víře v dopad, který tento deník může mít.

    Nespočet lidí do něj přispělo skvělými nápady, a zanechalo tak v této knize svou stopu. Věřím, že díky úžasné komunitě, která se kolem GoodWays tvoří, můžeme skutečně něco změnit.
