In today's often fast-paced world, this set is a gentle support that allows a child to better understand their own inner world.

More than just cards: a tool for life

Understanding and talking about difficult feelings with your children is a challenge for every parent. These cards will help you navigate difficult conversations in a natural way.

  • 40 Affirmation Cards: Each card is accompanied by a gentle illustration of an animal, such as an otter, bee, or robin, that follows the text. The pictures help children understand phrases like "My body is my best friend" or "It's okay to make mistakes" and incorporate them into their everyday vocabulary.
  • 5 Mindfulness Games: Emotions are experienced in the body. That’s why we’ve added five activation cards, such as Grounding (Spy Game) and Calming (Superhero Breath). These games give kids simple physical tools, such as breathing out stress or finding their center.

A guide that grows with your child

  1. For the youngest (3–5 years): Storytelling and connection

    Even if your child can't read yet, they'll love the illustrations of animals. Use the cards to tell little stories and connect them to what your child has experienced. When you look at the picture together and say, "I saw you being brave on the playground today, just like this badger," you're doing more than just reading the text. You don't have to be a psychologist to use the cards correctly. The goal is not perfection or another "homework", but a moment of pause. Here are some tips for incorporating the cards into your daily life:

  • Connection Ritual (Morning Spark or Evening Calm): Have your child draw a card. Read it and let the words just sink in. This is a time to build confidence in your child in the simplest way possible – with your full attention.
  • Real-life mirroring: If your child pulls out the "I am brave" card, try saying to them during the day, "I see your bravery when you went to ask for help." This will connect the affirmation to their real life.
  • Anchor for Sensitive Children: Working with the body is key when raising highly sensitive children . Practice Mindfulness Game cards (like Ocean Wave Breath) in a calm, playful way. When a big emotion or overload comes, the body will remember this tool and calm down more easily.
  • Secret message: Want to make your child's day at school better? Hide a chosen card in their snack box or pencil case. It's a little reminder that you're thinking of them and that they can do it.
  • How to talk to kids about feelings: Not sure how to start a conversation after a tough day? Spread out the cards and let your child choose the one that best describes how they're feeling (e.g., "My inner weather"). It's a safe bridge to talk about what's bothering them.

A few words from us

We all want to pass on the best things to our children, such as courage, kindness, and self-belief. But even when we know what we want to give them, in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's not always easy to figure out how to do it.

When my godson was born, I reached out to the most qualified people, child psychologists, teachers, and parents, to see how I could help. During our conversations, I discovered that many of us (and even professionals) often struggle to find the right words. We all lacked that little spark that would help us do so.

We created these cards to be that spark. They are a bridge between you and your child and a simple tool to help you start important conversations. I hope the cards will help you build a foundation of trust and inner strength that will last a lifetime.

Local production and quality workmanship

Children's items need to last. That's why the cards are printed on sturdy, premium paper that will survive backpack trips, sticky fingers, and years of use. The cards are lovingly designed and made in the Czech Republic.

  • Od kolika let jsou karty vhodné?

    Jsou skvělým parťákem pro děti od 3 let. U těch nejmenších fungují jako obrázková hra, kdy rodič čte afirmace nahlas a společně si o nich povídají. Děti od 6 let už si v nich rády čtou samy a používají je jako svůj vlastní tajný zdroj síly.
  • Co je to „všímavá hra“ a jak se hraje?

    Emoce nebydlí jen v hlavě, ale prožíváme je v celém těle. Proto jsme s pomocí odborníků vybrali 5 nejúčinnějších technik, které používají terapeuti, a přetvořili je do her, kterým rozumí i malé děti.

    Tyto speciální karty doporučujeme používat odděleně od zbytku balíčku. Vytvořte si z nich samostatný rituál pro chvíle, kdy to doma „jiskří“, nebo naopak, když potřebujete hluboké zklidnění.



    Tady je, co přesně umí:

    • Dech jako mořská vlna (Technika: Brániční dýchání)
      Tohle není obyčejné dýchání. Hluboký dech do břicha je fyziologický signál, který doslova přepne nervový systém z režimu „poplach“ do režimu „bezpečí“. Je to jeden z nejrychlejších způsobů, jak ztišit zrychlený tep a neklidnou mysl.
      Kdy pomáhá: Ideální uspávadlo, když je hlavička plná dojmů, nebo pro zklidnění po velkém pláči.

    • Dech superhrdiny (Technika: Regulace silných emocí)
      Vztek nebo úzkost často cítíme jako obrovský přetlak energie. Tato hra učí děti tuto energii nepopírat, ale pevným postojem „hrdiny“ a dlouhým výdechem ji bezpečně „uzemnit“ a získat nad ní kontrolu.
      Kdy pomáhá: Když má dítě „nervy na pochodu“, před náročnou situací (lékař, první den ve školce) nebo když potřebuje dodat odvahu.

    • Hra na špiona (Technika: Uzemnění / Grounding)
      Když mysl těká nebo se točí v kruhu obav, potřebujeme ji vrátit „nohama na zem“. Zapojení 5 smyslů (hledání věcí, které vidím, slyším, cítím...) funguje jako tlačítko reset pro přetížený mozek.
      Kdy pomáhá: Při smyslovém přetížení (hluk v obchodě), při záchvatu úzkosti nebo po ošklivém snu.

    • Lov pokladů (Technika: Přeformátování chyb)
      Chyby často bolí a vyvolávají stud. Tato hra mění „pokazil/a jsem to“ na „našel/a jsem poklad“. Učí děti (i nás dospělé), že chyba není selhání, ale cenná součást učení.
      Kdy pomáhá: Když se něco rozlije, rozbije nebo nepovede. Okamžitě odstraňuje napětí a strach ze selhání.

    • Vnitřní počasí (Technika: Emoční uvědomění)
      Pocity jsou méně děsivé, když je umíme pojmenovat. Tato karta učí, že žádné počasí (emoce) není špatné – slunce, déšť i bouřka jsou v pořádku a zase přejdou.
      Kdy pomáhá: Ráno pro naladění, po škole, nebo když je dítě nevrlé a neví proč.

    Tip pro rodiče: Cílem těchto her není pocity „opravit“, ale naučit se s nimi být. Zkoušejte je v klidu formou hry – tím si tělo vybuduje svalovou paměť, po které automaticky sáhne, až přijde skutečná emoční bouřka.

  • Jak jsou karty vyrobeny?

    Karty vznikají s láskou přímo u nás v GoodWays v Brně. Jsou vytištěné na pevném papíře, aby vydržely dětské ručky, a jejich obsah byl pečlivě konzultován s odborníky tak, aby byl pro dětskou duši bezpečný a srozumitelný.
  • Jak karty používat každý den?

    Hlavně na to netlač. Nejjednodušší rituál je nechat dítě vytáhnout si jednu kartu ráno nebo před spaním. Přečti ji, zeptej se, co si o tom myslí, nebo jen mlčky buďte spolu. Časem si děti začnou pro karty chodit samy, třeba když najdou "poklad" v chybě, kterou udělaly.
  • Jsou karty vhodné i do školky nebo školy?

    Rozhodně. Karty jsou oblíbenou pomůckou nejen doma, ale i v rukou dětských psychologů a paní učitelek. Skvěle fungují pro ranní kruhy, chvilky zklidnění po obědě nebo jako jemný nástroj pro otevření debaty o emocích v kolektivu.
