Drinking clean water is essential for a healthy life. In central Europe, we are lucky to have a regular supply of drinkable water directly from the tap. However, its purity is not always to take for granted! The conventional tap water often contains elements that don’t belong there and thus not only deteriorate its taste but above all can have a negative long term effect on our health. Luckily, there exist ecological ways to further purify our tap water and even improve its taste.

So which solution did we find?

We have been searching for an easy and effective solution, how we can purify our own tap water in an ecological way. We tried several options and the best experience we had with Kishu Binchotan active coal, which is not only 100% natural but also easy to carry and use. It’s soaking up impurities from the water like a sponge and we can have a good feeling about drinking clean water everywhere we go. And it’s so easy!

GoodFilter is special active coal, also known as Kishu Binchotan, which is handmade in the Wakayama region in Japan, where it has been used for its purifying properties and health benefits for centuries. GoodFilter binds unwanted chemicals and impurities, balances the pH of the water and softens it while supplying it with minerals and improving its taste.

GoodFilter is a natural product, which is produced in a sustainable way. Its lifetime is about 3 – 5 months. After its use, you can break it up and dig it down in your garden where it will go back to the circle of life being a natural fertilizer for your plants.
